		<description>I celebrated midnight with the Arabs, down in Newcastle Street park. They mainly had skyrockets, but I had a huge Roman candle. When the skyrockets were all gone (the park was filled with smoke) I set up the Roman candle. But three little kids gathered around and wouldn&#039;t bugger off, so I lit the fuse - and ran! Soon as it started firing they ran too, all in different directions. Terrific fun.
