Apparently the height of embarrassment for a nine year old is having your dad listen to his iPod as he waits to pick you up. Even before ‘hello’ I was hissed at to stop listening as I was embarrassing her.

Maybe an iPod Shuffle would be cooler.

    I don’t think it’s the iPod so much as the impromtu breaking out into tone-deaf singing that causes the embarrassment…

    I think someone is jealous…..it is not often your Dad is cooler than you.
