Layette
I bought a few more little things yesterday. Some singlets and socks. My goodness they are tiny!
We thought it would be a good idea to get list-writing to make sure we have enough of everything that we might need. Good to get thinking of it now while I’m still able to walk in the stores comfortably, and while I’m still being paid regularly. Once that stops…. well, let’s not go there right now…
Sorting through things, we find we’ve plenty of tiny singlets, but not enough actual growsuits. Plenty of socks, but no other clothing. Then there’s the furtniture bit. We’ve a cot and mattress, but no coccoon. We’ve got a change table, but no bath.
There’s still so much we have to do and organise!
Then there’s the whole lack of time thing. Let’s not go there right now…

Oooh Rae, I’m yet to list the stuff on the fundraising site, but today I found out that Scandinavian Baby, the parent company of Baby Bjorn, are sending to us two hampers of baby stuff, each worth $330. Will list them on www.betweencoffees.com/ridesrilanka for you at a decent hour …
