An Update
We’ve just had our latest appointment with Max The Wonder Doctor. Albert/Kennedy is growing very well and should be the same size, if not bigger, than Phee was when he/she decides to make their appearance come August (you’ll have to wait for Rae to comment to find out how big Phee was). Everything else is progressing as hoped, except for the Visa card that took a hit today when we paid for Max’s services.
Bad news is that the next appointment is the pincushion appointment for Rae. Needle for iron test, diabetes test and the RH factor injection, all in one go. I don’t think she’ll love Max anywhere near as much that day.

Never mind about the hit to the mastercard, kids, there’s the all singing all dancing all dissapearing medicare safety net to back you up!
Also let’s not forget the baby bonus, otherwise known as the “here’s $3,000, now please please please take care of us 20 years from now” bribe…
I’ve already mentally spent ours on speaker systems and red wine, I figure we’ll need both of them by the time the first three months is gone…

Can I just say, that I love the fact that you’ve referred to it as ‘the pincushion appointment’! It’s just a few needles … I’d be more put out by all the poking around that must happen when you’re preggers … ick! :D
