So, so lucky…
This fortnight, Mum’s friend has given her baby clothes galore, as well as cloth nappies. So, we’ve now crossed nappies off our list. We’re also not shopping for any more baby clothes.
Then an online friend pointed us to a Melbourne recycle group, where things are offered to a first-in-best-dressed type email listing. I just picked up a cot quilt and a sleeping bag, perfect for walking with the pram in winter. Mind, they both need a good soaking wash, but are in perfect condition other than a bit of dirt on them, so can’t complain. The girl I got these off also had some cot sheet sets, which I also asked for, but someone beat me to those.
There’s still more we need to get, but on the whole, we’re doing really well today, in comparison to what we had and needed two weeks ago!
