Went for a walk to pick up the mail. Good 40 mins or so later I’m back home. Kinda exhausted, but feeling quite good actually. Think I’ll be doing that a little more often on lovely days such as this.

Park my bum on the couch, along with a cuppa tea and the latest Harry novel. Then notice some bloke in fluorescent (could you miss someone dressed in this style of wear?) clothing coming up the path. Unsure if it’s the power man, coming to check our meter or if it’s a delivery bloke I wait to hear the door bell. No door bell, so I open the door anyway.

“Got a package for you love. Just sign here.”

Big grins from Rae. She loves packages. Thanks Mr Delivery man and waddles back inside to see what it is.

Hmm…. Sender: Baby cupcakes. Who in the world is baby cupcakes and why didn’t I change my name to that - such a cool name! Grab a knife and slice the box open to find this:

It’s a bunch of socks and a rattle in the middle! How gorgeous!

Then discover the card and begin to cry like a crazy woman. Or a pregnant one anyway.

Ren you beautiful girl, thank you so much. I tried calling your mobile (when you find that missed call message, it was just me…) but there was no answer (course, you’re at work and busy answering their phones instead!) This is just gorgeous! And regardless that baby cupcakes is where you got it from, I shall always know you as my friend baby cupcakes xx
