Serenity now!
Tomorrow is the big day!
We have a sitter (read: my Mum) ready to watch the kids (heh… kid”s”) so we can disappear from the house and watch the Firefly movie Serenity. Oh so excited!
And yet at the same time, oh so sad and a little worried.
I know my Mum is a wonderful and brilliant sitter; she looked after the other one all that time too and she’s now 9 and a half, but a part of me is just a little worried. What if he doesn’t settle so well without me (heh, not many mothers wouldn’t worry about this) What if he wants me and I’m not there (such a big head I have)
The sad part is just that it’s already that time in his life. He’s ready to be babysat. Already.
